Soaring Above Life's Challenges

The mission of Stanly Academy Learning Center (SALC) is to provide an opportunity for all students to earn a high school diploma.  The program is designed to give educational opportunities for students who are currently unsuccessful in their traditional/home high school setting.  SALC supports the following goals:

• Small classroom learning environment
• Increase in the number of diplomas presented in area high schools
• Decrease in dropouts throughout the school system
• Provide credit recovery opportunities
• Social/personal development and growth
• Cultivate behavioral management skills
• Incorporate character development
• Increase community connections and involvement
• Opportunity to return to their traditional/home school
