Principal's Message

Welcome to the Stanly County Schools YES Academy webpage.

It is our belief that all students have the capacity to make wise decisions concerning their future when given proper guidance and instruction. We also believe students should be free to think independently, to inquire freely, and to accept responsibility as active participants in the educational process. The school, home, and community should share the responsibility of guiding and encouraging students to seek desirable goals in life. Constant changes in society and in the community demand flexibility in every aspect of school life.

We are committed to providing additional instructional support, creating individualized pathways to graduation and plans beyond high school, holding students accountable for their academic performance and behavior choices, and partnering with our families and communities. Together, we can help our students achieve success.
